Monica, this is amazing - I've just had an article published in Ireland's Own magazine (Autumn edition) called Harness Maker. It's about Moss Scanlon and the shop in Listowel.
But first let me thank you for buying my book of short stories and the lovely feedback.

The one name I recognise is Carmody - did they have a sweer shop in William Street?
I'm going to Ireland tomorrow - 9th Aug - for three weeks, but hopefully I will have access to a computer to enable me to catch up with my mail (this is Kerry, mind you! It might take a time ...)

Thanks for the kind feedback - it's great to hear from you. I know excatly how you feel about the constant and unnessary over-use of foul language and coarse input. Sometimes necessary, but I very rarely resort to it. I fee,l if you can't get the story across without i, maybe the story is lacking something ....

I have just read Father Stone. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable story. It made a change from the very many foul language and Porn stories out there. Keep up the good work. I will lookout for more of your books.
