Wow, Tammy - what a nice thing to say. It's always wonderful to know that someone has enjoyed your work, and is spreading the word. Do you write? I've got a few things on the go at the moment, but I'm stuck on my novel - I can't make the connection between the hero and the real killer .. I've hit a wall, as they say.
Again, thanks for the kind comments, Tammy, and Ii wish you and your family a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
I just recently discovered your stories, and just had to tell you how much I enjoy them. I am telling everyone about you - I believe it usually goes like this - "Have you read anything by Brendan Gerad O'Brien? No? Well you have got to check him out - the tone of his writing is dead on- it's like being told a story by your Irish Uncle." Anyway, I just wanted to let you know you have a true fan out there - please, please, keep up the great work!
Hi i have just reciently discovered your short story called Footsteps. I enjoyed it very much, especally the humor you use.I will be reading the other stories you have written.
Thank you
Toni - thanks for your kind comments. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading it, and I hope you didn't find it too distressing ... my elderly neighbour was a bit stunned by the graphic detail, as she described it to me this morning, but I believe the fear and tredidation is how I would have experience it. Luckily I was born in '47 so I escaped the worst of it ...
