Before I begin I have to say this site appears to be for younger members. I couldn't type in my DOB the counter only went back to 1945??? I needed 1939.

I was born in Belfast N.Ireland and lived thru the blitz of 1941 was later evacuated to the village of Bushmills. Later in life I found myself with an accquired taste for Blackbush! I wont go into details of my early life, for that you will have to read my book "Lily & Me". In 1955 I joined the Royal Navy as a Boy Seaman 2nd Class, the absolute lowest rank in the navy. I was sent to train at HMS Ganges the toughest training school in the world!!! where boys were turned into men. I served twelve years on both surface ships and submarines. I immigrated to Canada in 1967 an did a further twelve years in the RCN reserve. I'm retired and living my my wife Linda on our 15 acre hobby farm on Prince Edward Island.
